Breakfast today was at the Burger Bar on the ship. We had a French toast burger, blueberry pancake and a bacon and egg croissant.
We then went to 'The Social Club' Bar for a game of Trivia. We did quite well considering we guessed most of the answers. On our way there we saw a large replica of our ship. Later on we went to the shops on board and brought a small replica as a souvenir.
Our next trivia game was at 'The Manor' and the entrance to this venue was really trippy. It was a corridor of lights and mirrors and hard to see where to go. One couple were waiting for someone else to go through first as they didn't know where to walk. As we were early for the second trivia game we went to get some ice cream only just managing to return as the game was starting. The trivia was called "Last One Standing" where you answered a multi-choice question by standing in one of three coloured light positions. If you were standing in the wrong colour, you were out.
For lunch we went and had Pizza with a young couple, who were teachers, that we met at the trivia games. I didn't get a photo of the pizzas, so here is an emoji instead🍕.
Later on we went back to The Manor to watch a game show called "Double Trouble" where 6 couples were asked questions to see how much they really knew about each other.
Since it was Taco Tuesday, we decided to go looking for the taco place but, unfortunately, the tacos were underwhelming. We then headed to "On The Rocks" where we watched a magic show before heading back to The Manor to watch another magic show, "Rockstar Magician". A magician who loves rock and bases his magic around rock bands and music. He also plays a 'Keytar' which is a electric guitar and a keyboard combined.
Now that it was time for dinner we wanted to try something fancy, but on our way some fudge caught our eyes. The first Restaurant that had room was the Extra Virgin Restaurant. We were seated next to a man from London, who seemed more interested in talking to us than his own group, one of which was a Professional Pasta Vlogger.
We started off with some bread and olive oil dipping, then shared a plate of Braised Mini Meatballs. For the main course, I ordered the Young Chicken Cacciatore and mum had the Porcini-Rubbed New York Strip, We also shared a plate of Pappardelle al Ragu pasta 🤌. Then dessert came and we shared a Ricotta Bomboloni and Limoncello Sorbeto. After dinner we retreated to our cabin for the night.
