Day 3

We started our massive day, obviously from La Cala. This time I got the Americano and mum got the Omelette with some orange juice.
Then we hopped onto the red route bus again, to take us to Arc de Triomf, which we unfortunately missed yesterday.
We then hurriedly walked to Casa Batlló, as we were worried we might be late for our booking, just to wait in the hot sun for 20 minutes. 🥵 It was worth the wait
After finishing up at Casa Batlló we grabbed a refresher from the McDonalds across the street, before hopping onto the blue route bus and passing by Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau.
We hopped off at the Park Güell stop to find out, the hard way, it is half way up the mountain.🥵
Knowing it was booked out we asked where we could go for free, believing it wasn't far, only to find we had to climb up another thousand steps. The climb nearly killed us (mainly mum), but the view was worth it.
After walking back down (which seemed so much easier), we grabbed an ice block to cool us down, before heading back to the bus, where we then saw some interesting building architecture, the Futbol Club Barcelona, CaixaForum and Torre de Comunicacions de Montjuïc.
We had dinner at Oaxaca Cuina Mexicana which was right outside our hotel. I had a beef taco and mum had a beef shank with marrow and vegetables in soup, but I was so tired from the hot day that I forgot to get a photo of our meals, so here is an AI generated version.
